{Do you know?} Huzza: Harbor Springs, Michigan

I have been wanting to write this blog post for a very, very long time. Up until recently, Huzza has not had a website. Well folks, now they do. Man-oh-man, it was worth certainly worth the wait! This is one of the most beautifully presented online shopping sites I have seen to date.Huzza has long been one of my favorite lifestyle stores. They’ve been perfecting the art of merchandising and shop-keeping since 1978. For a large percentage of that time I have been a big, big fan. Each Summer when I return to Northern Michigan, I consider Huzza a must visit spot for treasure hunting.Ever since my teens (before I had my first apartment at 17 years old) I have been hand-picking my favorite decorative objects from their gorgeous, loft-like storefront on Main Street. I am creeping up into my late 30′s and I still swoon over their exquisite selection of merchandise. The home furnishings I have selected from Huzza are not traditional – just timeless – each piece has traveled with me from one home to the next.
While I am always focused on their home decor and furnishings, Huzza also offers apparel, shoes, jewelry, accessories and hostess gifts. As a matter of fact, some of my favorite dresses have come from their shop.Go ahead, check Huzza.net out – you’ll be delighted that you did! You can also follow Huzza on Twitter and like Huzza on Facebook. Oh, and be sure to tell them that their old friend @ABCDDesigns sent you!
Shop the items I featured in this post: Vintage Murano Glass Lamps, Salmon Board with Knife, Double Old Fashioned Glass, Blue Mega Tea Cup and Saucer (One of my favorite patterns of all time – I have no idea why I don’t even own one piece of it!)
