John Derian Shopping -&- Gearing up for HALLOWEEN

Yesterday, I wrote about decoupage and mentioned John Derian’s East Village store. I have to say … it is one of my FAVORITES! I adore his new line of upholstered goods based on vintage pieces. I couldn’t help but post these pictures of the MOST DARLING (French imported) Halloween Costumes for children! It is the season after all, check the cuteness out …

BTW: last weekend Mr. D and I carved pumpkins. I have decorated our range hood in the kitchen as well as the rest of our space … we’re ready for HALLOWEEN!

We are going to march in this years PARADE. Since Halloween falls on Friday they’ve scheduled both our annual Halloween activities for the very same time frame on Friday night. BOO-hiss!

Anyway, I wish we didn’t have to choose between marching and getting tickets for the Halloween Extravaganza and Procession of Ghouls at St. John the Divine. The Halloween Extravaganza is always a spook-tacular affair, it is my VERY favorite NYC annual event … I guess there is always next year!
