ALL of these designs are part of the ready-to-write collection of designs. They can be customized in your colors with your name and address in the card and on the mailing label. Place your order by the Wednesday of next week and you’ll have them in the post on time for the holidays!

BTW: Last night Mr. D and I walked over to check out the holiday windows at Selfridges and the lights on Oxford Street.

Santa has been busy, doing laundry…

grocery shopping …

break-dancing …

on a Vespa …

at the movies …

taking the train …

and relaxing in the bath!

So funny that he has ALL this EXTRA time on his hands! I would think he’d be busy working on his list of good girls and boys.

We also saw Regent Street …

Carnaby Street …

and Sloane Square last weekend.

{Thanks for the photos Londonist and Wee Birdy and Flickr as I forgot our camera back in NYC!}

Have a happy W E E K E N D! We’re back in the City tomorrow morning. YAY!

Nov 28th 2008 The Wolseley – gotta go!

One of these days I must have tea at The Wolseley!

I must have walked past it a million times, but last night the light was shining so bright from within I had to stop and take a longer look inside.

Grand space. Perfect Proportions. So lovely. That marble floor, please?!? Amazing.

An Art Deco D-E-L-I-G-H-T.

Nov 28th 2008 Cool Web Tools!

I came across this a cool new site that allows brides to make an inspiration board online. No need for the fancy computer design programs. Check out Bridal Canvas and get inspired!

I also found this neat program called Wordle via a sweet bridal blog named The Blissful Bride. This web tool will create a pattern with your words in custom colors and fonts. I am thinking the it could be printed on your party favor bags/tags. Simply cut and paste a series of words and Wordle does the rest!

{Wordle scanned the words on the ABCD Designs Accolades page and created a word cloud for me}

{Hint, hint … BIG NEWS coming soon!}

Nov 26th 2008 Beach House Chic

It’s so cold, grey and wet in London that I decided to day-dream-decorate my East Coast beach front dream house.

In front of this natural linen colored sofa

would be this Scott Estepp cocktail table. It’s well suited for a house on Martha’s Vineyard or Cape Cod, no?

Both pieces could be sitting on top of a denim Echo rug by Maddie Weinrib.

Adding to the relaxed denim vibe, I would certainly throw a few patterned scatter pillows in shades of indigo on the sofa. It will bring the color up from the rug onto the sofa and soften it up a bit.

Now I need side tables (I am thinking a stack of suitcases or a shipping trunk)

Perhaps something like this would do the trick

that is ONLY if a Vintage LV trunk is out of the price range!

Time to get back to work. I am designing holiday cards today. Have a GREAT afternoon!
