Last year, House & Garden featured Richard Meier’s Upper East Side apartment – neutral in palette and full with colorful art books stacked high almost like space partitions.
Just last month *as featured on Desire to Inspire* – Diane Bergeron lives with a book-scaped feature wall.
Book bindings as an interior design feature – With a new personal design project on the horizon, I have thought a lot about living with the look. Elle Decor featured Madeline Weinrib’s personal apartment – guess what? – She has two entire walls covered with books in her NYC loft!
The idea of having all inspiration close at hand while working is fabulous. I wonder if my very favorite red desk could pull off a similar look?!? Yesterday I came across these photos by Patric Johansson and it immediately re-sparked my love for decorating with books.
Again, a neutral interior design palette and a wall of colorful books.

A perfectly pretty celebration palette for a wedding in the Fall as well! Gorgeous!
Artfool has successfully pulled off this color palette at the Tribeca Rooftop. It’s pretty, no?
I love the idea of chocolate brown paper foil stamped in bright yellow or lavender for the wedding invitations.
I am also imagining a pile of party favors wrapped in these bright colors -!- so fun!

I almost fell out of my chair when Nicole sent me a few pictures from her November wedding to Michael.
How amazing is this photo? This is Nicole and Michael on their wedding day. She wasn’t kidding when she said she wanted “elegant” not beachy for her wedding stationery! How about that dress!?!?
