HOT off the PRESSES and so terribly lovely!
The belly band reading “Cape Cod Celebration of Love” holds the pouchette contents in place. The silver metallic ink throughout the suite matches the pouchette and RSVP envelope perfectly!

Ivy was head over heels in L-O-V-E with the designs I made for Nicole and Michael. I had to make her happy so you’ll notice the swashes and swirls remain quite similar on the main invitation. I added a few swirls here or there but the print method, color, font and wording change the look of this design quite remarkably. No doubt it is an untraditional layout for a wedding invitation *yet* it remains elegant and rich because of her lovely color choices.

This is by far my favorite piece of the suite. Swashy-swirly goodness! With so many people traveling from out of town they opted to invite the whole guest list to the rehearsal dinner. Notice, we even worked in their wedding website address without being too distracting. I love this swirly design and how we used color to bring out the most important information.

The RSVP card offers not only your chance to RSVP for the wedding (and the ability to pick your menu at the reception) but it also allows you to reply to the Welcome Dinner. Smart, no? Makes counting your catering numbers easier too – all the RSVP’s in one spot! Hooray!

The RSVP envelope reads: Deliver with love to the Bride and Groom. I LOVE that!

The program cover will be tied with a simple navy blue ribbon. So simple, clean and beautiful!

Front of Thank You Note says Much Love and Many Thanks!

Inside Thank You Note, bottom left corner reads “We thank you!” Ivy and Ben plan to place (with double-sided semi-permanent tape) a wedding photo in the thank you note above the fold. It’s a darling keepsake for their guests and if the recipient desires they may remove the 4×6 photo and place it in a frame. Nice touch, no?

Hello.
Thanks for writing about my stationery designs. I feel that you should know that you’ve spelled stationEry wrong. You spelled it with an A. StationAry means standing still in one place. StationEry means paper goods.
I understand that copying is supposed to be the highest form of flattery, but what you did is steal my work.
Kind regards,
ABC Dragoo

Ivy,
I do mind. I mind a lot. This is my business and people pay me for designing invitations. What I should be doing is sending you a bill for my art direction – and had I found that you were stealing my work before you sent the invitations out, you’d have a cease and desist letter on your door step. FYI: in the right-hand side of my blog, in the sidebar there is a button that says ‘copyscape’ ‘do not copy’
Just because it is on the internet doesn’t mean that it is okay to steal. Because this is what you did – you stole my work.
It is people like you who made me stop sharing my designs on my blog. This leads to less work for me because less people are aware of it.
So yes, I do mind that you stole my work.
Poppytalk has written two articles on this subject. I suggest you take a look:

Hi,
I am sincerely sorry that cause you so upset. I first thought since I drew it myself just for my small wedding it should be all right, and i knew I should not just copy it so I made changes. However, it looks like i was still wrong. I never ever want to affect your business but just want to appreciate your great design, nor plan to use your ideas to make money.
I will delete my blog which gave ppl wrong impression.
Thanks for letting my know your thoughts.

Ivy,
By you deleting the blog post, it doesn’t change the fact that you stole my work and sent it out to your wedding guests as your own. That was wrong to do.
