life gives you limes {Make Margaritas!}
My mom always has a vat of frozen margaritas in the freezer during Summer time. For spur of the moment easy-breezy Summer entertaining a big yellow tupperware bowl holding the most delicious homemade frozen margarita mixture is always close at hand. Since it’s Cinco de Mayo and hot weather is around the corner … today I share with you … DeDe’s Margarita Recipe.

What you’ll need: Keep in mind that this recipe is best when you make it a day or two in advance so that it is extra slushy when served! You also may want to double the recipe – yes, it’s that tasty – so double up your list when you’re at the market!
1 can Frozen Minute Maid Limeade (in the freezer section next to the frozen lemonade and orange juice) DO NOT pick up frozen Margarita mix – just Limeade, this recipe has plenty of alcohol – thanks! winkwink
Triple Sec
Directions:
In a blender place the full contents of the limeade can. Refill the empty limeade can to the top with Triple Sec. Pour contents into the blender. Refill the empty limeade can *again* with a full can of Patron Gold Tequila.
Blend for a few seconds, add ice, blend again.
Place in a freezer safe container and store in freezer until serving.
It’s like mother’s milk … make a double recipe. When it’s gone, make it again. Never allow your freezer to be without a batch!
