Ice Milk Aprons, Pictures and Pancakes

Ice Milk Aprons
A few months ago I “met” Heirloom Apron Designer, Ashley Leckey on Twitter. She is an amazing gal with incredible taste. I always enjoy her point of view on Preserves, the blog, as well as the links she shares with her followers on Twitter.
Preserves, the blog
Everything about Ashley’s website is clean and well done. It is a pleasure to peruse. I love how she has managed to weave together old and new. I adore the old fashioned typeface and handwriting on her website, the minimal use of color, even how her aprons are photographed on vintage dress forms! She really achieved a turn-of-the-century feel in every way. Not to mention – Oh My GOSH – the divine aprons she sells!! ABCD is in L-O-V-E. So simple, chic and modern yet they’re steeped in tradition. A job well done – very, very well done!

Obviously, I totally have a crush on the whole set-up over at Ice Milk Aprons. So… when she tweeted about a lovely food blog link, I was all ears.

Do it. Go visit Pictures and Pancakes. They are in the middle of a cross country move, so posts are light recently – however, I was sure to bookmark the blog anyway. Heaven knows, I know what it is like to have everything packed away! (We’re going on 5 months now – can you believe it?) Recipes are always inspiring when the photos are this good, so I look forward to following their blog updates once they’ve unpacked and settled in!

Thanks for the introduction ! I am a fan – and those aprons – could I look more stylish when cooking – I’ll have to see where I can find one!

I’ve never seen these aprons, but now I am smitten. It was love at first sight. I am going to give the blog a gander.

    Thanks!
