Everyone should have BESPOKE personal stationery!
Since Thanksgiving I have had a few different personal stationery sets come back from print. One of which was the winnings from the ABCD Design 2nd Blog-i-versary Giveaway that I ran over at Pretty Lovely Things. Paloma’s stationery is slated to arrive at her doorstep on Friday. I think she will be delighted, don’t you?
I swear, when I opened the box for this set – my eyes teared up. Actual tears! It’s incredible. When Mr. D saw the suite he said “Everyone should have personal stationery.” He doesn’t normally notice paper goods in quite the way that he noticed this letterpress set.
I have to say, until I designed Maggie and Trevor’s suite, I was never a huge fan of letterpress. I felt it wasn’t flexible enough when it came to heavy ink coverage and design possibilities. But I am going to admit, here and now… I am in Letterpress LOVE!

I loooooove that we are part of this experience for you! And I am dying over Paloma’s stationery. By the way… how much do I miss seeing ABCD paper on your blog?! Get back to showing us your paper eye candy, lady – no excuses now that you are settled in NYC again! (this is my tough love approach) xoxo

I better speak up and say that I am enamored with the Paloma design. Reminds me of patterns arising from the English Arts and Crafts Movement, a favorite of mine!

Oh, thanks for the love ladies!
Maggie,
I got discouraged when I went to the National Stationery Show last Spring and a very well known designer had knocked off my “thank you sew much” card. They wrote “love you sew much” with the same image.
I was also copied by a bride of mine who was so inspired by the suite I designed for her that she actually started a company and a blog and then proceeded to take my “hay thanks” card and post it as her work.
I thought perhaps the blog is making it too easy for people to get “inspiration.”
I dunno… It’s all such a drag.
Anyway, Lydia and Maggie – I appreciate your sweet comments. xxABCD

Drats! That is terrible!! (I’m talking about being copied, etc.-of course) The work is lovely, but I can totally understand about being wary of posting it. Remember…often imitated, never duplicated. Of course, that doesn’t make one feel much better does it.
I particularly love Lindsay & Thomas’
