Bakers Twine {Stock Up}

I have long been a fan of tying packages up with bakers twine. I have a large spool of green and red bakers twine that I tie my up holiday bakery packages with. I’ve got another spool in black and white, and yet another in red and white. I’ll use them to finish off just about any package – or to bind up a pile of envelopes, stationery, or magazine tears. Last weekend… I fell upon Divine Twine which is offered in the most delicious color combinations. It’s far pricier than regular bakers twine (which you can get here, here, or here) but oh my gosh ~Divine Twine, what a find!

    Last summer, I bought about 200 kraft paper, carry out boxes for picnics. What was I thinking? This twine is fantastic. how many yards will I need for 200 boxes? It will be a long year of baking. Thanks, Amy for sharing your panache and style!

    I too covet baker’s twine, but fail at ever wrapping a gift in its simplicity. I seem to stop at perfection when it comes to the final package dressing. S’pose I’m exhausted from fretting by that point.

    I was reminded this week that it matters. Mr. Computer Pants and I got a wedding gift (umm, going on 1.5 years after the day?) tied up with an exquisite melange of yarns. It really set the tone for the succulent lime colored glass vase inside. Now I only wish it were accompanied by that sheepskin rug you speak of. . .

    I just received some baker’s twine from divine twine in the green apple and white color for my wedding invitations and I love it! Great company to work with, imho. And the unique colors really set it apart from all the other twiners these days.

    Amanda, there are other “twiners” -?- if so… where?!

    Kerry, thanks for the compliment. I hope you visit (and comment) often!

    Lydia, I too have been known to use yarn as the “ribbon” on gifts. Are you sure I didn’t wrap the gift that you speak of?! xx

    Queen – I suggest you buy the bulk variety ~that is one heck of a lot of kraft paper boxes! The third bulk link I give has plum + white = would look fab with kraft paper… if I do say so myself! ;)

    Amy,
    Thanks so much for the lovely mention of Divine Twine! It’s nice to know there are other twine lovers out there. :) My adoration of the stuff is how Divine Twine came about.
