Bold. Gorgeous. {still crushing on gold accents!}

This gold garden stool is catching my eye. At just $129, it seems like a good answer to many different needs. Use it as a floater table in the Living Room. It’s the perfect piece to hold your espresso cup or glass of wine. It could also be moved around the room as additional last-minute seating. In the bedroom, it could hold your book and glass of water next to the bed. Or, for apartment living… it’s the perfect spot to sit and tie your shoes.
How about this dainty, gold and black cocktail table straight out of the 1940′s? For such a ladylike silhouette, I happen to get great delight from it’s slightly masculine details. The rings, the lions heads on each end, the black glass, and don’t get me started on the tiny-tiny claw feet. This brass baby would look perfect in a stark, modern apartment as well as in a home that is decorated with traditional furnishings. It’s exactly what one would want for the lounge area in the study or office. It’s so sophisticated and super chic.
Yes sir. They’re enormous and the only place I can imagine them is on either side of the bed. No night stands. Just these lamps. One on either side. Gleaming in gold. Pretty, right? Speaking of bed… I’d love to roll over and see this clock on the night stand. This Mexican hand AND foot clock from the 1960′s is certainly a conversation starter!

    A beautiful tying together of different cultures, purposes and materials. I love this, and like all of us, am striving to build the most beautiful space I can within my means. $129 for that garden stool is completely attainable!

    Funny how Mr. C and I have had a chat about how we need a stool by the entryway for lacing up on the way out. Does this warrant a gold throne? I’d say so!

    I ordered our gold throne this morning! I plan however to place it near the sofa so I have a spot to rest my espresso in the morning and my chianti in the evening! ;)

    Great picks Amy!! Love the Pedro Friedeberg number and the stool is always a winner. Speaking of yesterday’s post, I understand where you’re coming from and it’s ok to rant and rave too. But yes, you are still blessed in many ways and you have each other. Wishing you the best always!!

    I’ve largely ignored gold for years, but lately, I’m more and more attracted to it. Your post is pushing me to the other side. ;)
