Wordless Wednesday -?- sort of.

I have stumbled onto blogs in the past that post purely images on Wednesday. It’s called Wordless Wednesday. What do you think of this practice? Is it a blog writing cop-out or a SEO blessing? With all the cleaning up I have to do… I am happy to write a little less and scrub, wash, clean-up, and organize a little more. These images most likely wouldn’t have made it into a regular ABCD Design post – but they are a good snapshot of what my life looks like these days. So, here I am. I decided to take a crack at Wordless Wednesday. The unfortunate thing is that I couldn’t help but explain myself! Not so wordless then, is it?

    HAHA I am a “wordy” girl myself but I love the idea of a Wordless Wed post!! These images are a great start to a memory book of all your hard work on the country house. Imagine 10 yrs from now sitting out on the porch all this construction all just a memory?!

    Wordless Wednesday? Never heard about it, but might be a good idea! Only that not sure if I would be able to just post pictures without any ‘ohh’ or ‘wow’ :)

    Wow, great idea, Julieann. Amy- I like the idea- it kind of rests the brain and soothes the eyes, but I can’t carry it off myself, as I’m better in words than in images. Those pics definitely speak more than a 1000 words, though!

    Awesome! And I’m SO GLAD I’m not the only one with the infamous work round the house sandals! – I love wordless wednesday – though I transformed it into Wordless Wine Wednesday on my blog what goes better than spa and wine? But I always cheat a little and write.

    Oh, Candy — those shoes belong to the Mr. Isn’t it funny how they are *exactly* the same color as the drill? I tend to walk the house in my birkenstocks — but not for long, once we move in, I am all about barefoot!

    Thanks for chiming in on my blog for the first time! As for the photography, that is a very kind compliment. It is ALL about the camera. I just recently got a new one and it takes much better pictures!

    Love Wordless Wednesday. I write Wednesday Word, but it takes so much energy! I think I am with you on this one.
    And your images are great – vignettes of the larger project – almost like sound bites in pictures.
    Love the photo of the toilet on the lawn. I remember my toilet sitting on the back deck for so long, I was going to put a flower pot in it!
