ABCD Design {inspiration} A Country Farmhouse

I stumbled onto A Country Farmhouse for the first time this morning via images on Justine Taylor’s Tumblr. I am absolutely entranced by the sweet glimpses of life that Trina is sharing with her readers at A Country Farmhouse. She is capturing the quintessential country life that she has created for her family through beautiful natural light photography. Her blog is so inspirational to me that could spend hours going through all three years of archives — but I mustn’t I’ve got a country life of our own to create!

Wow, the photography is amazing on her blog! I love her use of wood furniture throughout without it becoming too old fashioned and stale. Thx for introducing me to this new blog!

These images really remind me (and make me miss!) Country Home magazine. Soft light, natural materials, relaxed styling are some of the elements missing from today’s publications. So happy to see it in book form!

Ahhh…beautiful photos Amy. Can’t wait to check out Justine Taylor’s blog.
What is it about the simplicity of a bowl of fresh-picked tomatoes that just takes your breath away?
My daughter goes out on our back deck each morning to pick those cute little tomatoes off our plant – only the red ones I tell her. By the time she comes back inside they are all gone. She eats them straight off the vine. That just says summer kid bliss to me. Next year, we will be planting even more in our “vegetable garden” on the back deck…
