{3rd blog-i-versary Giveaway #4} Shandells Stocking Stuffer

You remember my friend Susan Schneider from Shandells, right? Last week, Susan opened up a fabulous new shop on the internet and received her first shipment of hostess gifts for the holiday season! To help celebrate my 3rd blog-i-versary, Shandells is giving away three lovely candle and artfully decorated matchbox gift sets to three of my readers – lucky you!
You can spread the holiday cheer by popping it in a Christmas stocking, take it as a hostess gift to a holiday party, or keep it for your own enjoyment – you decide. Comment here on this post to enter to win by telling Susan and I how you plan to use your matchbox and candle gift set. Is it a gift? If so, who is it for? If you are keeping this gift set for your own home, tell us which matchbox set you love the most.
Shandells is giving away a Keep Calm and Carry on Matchbox and Candle Gift Set, an Amaryllis Matchbox and Pear Candle Gift Set, and a Vintage Greek Key Wallpaper Matchbox and Candle Gift Set. Which one do you love the most?
As with all the other giveaways, we’d also be delighted if you Tweet about the prize by saying @abcddesigns is giving away an @shandells stocking stuffer! The winner will be randomly selected and we’ll announce which THREE readers will be gifted the matchbox and candle sets one week from today.     I would choose the keep calm and carry on set. I think it would make a great gift for any person regardless of their style. part of me wants to say I will gift it, but most likely I will end up keeping it for myself :)

    What a wonderful contest to celebrate a wonderful blog! Congratulations on 3 years :) I’m partial to the first set of matchboxes which I would (selfishly) keep for myself as I’ve been looking for the perfect candle for our Paris apartment and having a visible reminder like “keep calm and carry on” could only help achieve a greater state of zen!

    Being a working single mom I have to chant “Keep Calm and Carry On” every waking moment! That set would appeal to me the most! I would probably save it as an “emergency” gift. It is so adorable that anyone would be thrilled!

    I visited with Susan today to comment about all the press she has been getting lately. I wish everyone had the opportunity to visit her studio, so inspiring!!! Makes you want to run home and make something!! The next best thing is to purchase something from Shandells. “Things that make you smile!” is her motto and her creations definately do that!!

    I love the vintage Christmas postcard set. These would make a great starter to the Christmas gifts for my aunts because there are different sets for each woman.

    Susan has been a friend of mine for a long time….and I think of her as I light my candles in my bathtub using her wonderful matches with a fabulous flamingo on them. I have given away many of her nightlights as gifts. She makes me smile…always.

    I have been having a fit of financial drama and avoiding the bills and been told to create a peaceful bill paying area. That said, the Keep Calm and Carry On seems a logical ritually correct match to my needs.

    these are absolutely great…
    we have recently moved into a our house having had it rented out for 2 years to students…

    anything pretty and smelly is a must have…

    but these are beautiful matchboxes…

    keep calm & carry on is definitely my favorite, I’d be tempted to keep it for myself because we always are hunting for matches, but then think it would make a great gift for our secret santa event that i’ve been cohosting since the 90′s!

    I discovered Shandells in Millerton earlier this year and I’m absolutely obsessed with it. Susan also has these amazing vintage wallpaper presses that she converts into lamps – mine is in the works and I can’t wait to get it!!!
