Brimfield is ON!

I know, I know! I have been talking on ABCD Design about going to Brimfield since 2009. The draw to attend the grandest antiques show of them all is even more intense this year now that the house is pulled together and we’re settling in. Not to mention, this year The Daily Basics and Gretchen Aubuchon Design are making it even easier to attend from NYC. They have joined forces on Twitter to organize the #Brimfield Tweet-Up. These ladies have secured sponsors who are providing bus service to and from NYC, have an entire tent set aside for Tweet-Up participants, and have organized everything you’ll need for a comfortable visit.In all my eagerness to go to Brimfield this year, I signed up for the Tweet-Up before I realized we have friends in town and that I will be at the flower market on Friday morning preparing for Monday’s Design TV Joss & Main party. It’s all happening at once. I want to do it all – Boo!!I suppose there is nothing stopping me from hopping in the car and going to Brimfield tomorrow. The finds will be all the better and less picked over. I will just need to clear a few items off my schedule… hmnnnn, so tempting!If you are not attending Brimfield this year, please check out some of the best photos I have seen of Brimfield at Hallie Westcott Photography‘s blog. You can also live vicariously through the #Brimfield Tweet-Up folks on Friday and Saturday by keeping your eyes fixed on yogile.com/brimfield where they’ll be posting images of their antique finds.{Images Hallie Westcott PhotographySelectism, #BrimfieldOrange Street Design Studio, Katy Elliot, Oh So Beautiful Paper, Country Living}

    Oh, its too bad you won’t be there Amy. I won’t be getting to Brimfield until late on Friday and then joining the group for dinner. Between all who are able to attend, hopefully there will be enough of Brimfield covered for you to feel like you were there yourself [in the event you don't hop in the car and drive there tomorrow]
