O & G is dedicated to American Design, innovation and manufacturing. Sara and Jonathan (the owners of O & G) are dedicated to sourcing materials and fabricating the furniture in New England using local manufacturers and suppliers. Sara says “As a culture we are starting to really care where our food comes from, why shouldn’t we care where the objects that surround us come from?” I couldn’t agree more!They both believe “…that successful modern design is a synthesis of both memory and invention.” as well as in “Celebrating American design by breathing life into traditional forms.” I love the fact that they use time-tested techniques and craftsmanship and mix them with an eclectic, contemporary take on traditional American forms and materials. An added bonus? O & G products qualify for LEED points and no VOC paints are available upon request.
