What’s on? A Very ‘Berry’ Cooking Event and Tasting Party
A few weeks ago, I got a package in the mail that had a berry strainer, an apron, a ton of coupons for Driscolls Berries and my very own copy of Chef Rick Rodgers‘ cookbook called Thanksgiving 101. It’s chalk full of Thanksgiving tips and tricks, as well as different ideas for all the elements that go into making a successful turkey dinner.
As a matter of fact, I have absolutely devoured the book which got me interested in his many other cookbooks – the seasonal gatherings series has piqued my interest – Seasonal recipe books? Yes, please! If you’d like to know more about Rick’s work, you can follow @CookBookRick, like him on facebook, check out his recipes and read his blog.
Tonight, we’ll be talking about holiday recipes – especially those that incorporate berries – on Twitter. Chef Rick will be there with @DriscollsBerries, and all the rest of us who have tried out the recipes you see featured in this post. The tasting party starts at 8:00pm ET using the hashtag #DriscollsMoments. Please join us – it should be quite a festive event!

I would never buy a cookbook that did not have gorgeous photography accompanying the recipe. You are a lucky duck to now own this one. Have fun!
