ABCD is decking the Halls, the walls, the…

It was 60 degrees yesterday. Instead of prepping the house for the holidays, I pretended it was Springtime and took a jaunt up to Great Barrington where I met up with design blogger Stacey from Quintessence and interior and fabric designer Mally Skok who was kind enough to arrange a tour of artist Peter Fasano’s wallpaper and fabric printing studio. WOW!

Well, now I am even one more day behind in our holiday preparations! And can you believe there is no end to my holiday decoration procrastination? This evening I am headed back to my desk for some serious designing. I accepted a job to do the interior design on a one bedroom apartment in the City. I will be sourcing fabrics and selecting a few options for custom furniture pieces to present to my client. Hooray for new projects!Don’t forget: this is your last chance to VOTE for the top three dream desk designs!

    Hello,

Steve at an Urban Cottage just made me aware that you posted my advent calendar on your lovely blog today. Thank you! Yes, you are having strange weather…it’s 12 degrees warmer in Southern California than in NYC at the moment. Enjoy it…it won’t last! Happy holidays.

Sounds like a busy but exciting day. Can’t wait for your posts on the Fasano fabrics -just love them.
The advent calendar is really great! Might be inspired in something like that for our house…

Great news on new project. Wishing you many more for the new year.

I love the look of the chalkboard painted wall. What a cute idea for a calendar. :)
