For the last few years (during both the New York Spring and Fall Mercedes Benz Fashion Week) a household fashion label called Brizo has asked a select group of bloggers, architects and designers to spend a few days with them in New York City learning about the brand.I was invited to attend this event last Fall and couldn’t work out the timing with Mom and Dad’s visit to The Country House. When the invitation to see Brizo’s newest products and attend an exclusive design focused event during NYC Fashion Week came around again – I was more than happy to accept their offer for an expense paid trip.
Later this afternoon, a limo will be picking me up. They’ll usher me across town where I’ll spend the next three days at the Eventi Hotel. (If you want to follow the fun, pay attention to #BrizoFW hashtag on Twitter.) There will be an introduction to the Brizo product line and an interactive cooking session on Thursday. And on Friday we will be attending the Jason Wu fashion show. For those of you who don’t know, Jason Wu designs an exclusive line for Brizo that happens to be…It’s funny, I was just recently telling my new weekend house interior design client how modern matte black bathroom faucets can look. The client’s response was less than optimal, but after seeing Jason’s exclusive line it helps to confirm that I wasn’t full of crazy-talk. I was just simply onto something that was cutting edge and fashionable!
